Amusement park De Efteling is situated at 27 minutes of Het Oude Nest.

Amusement- and safari park De Beekse Bergen is situated at only 7 km (nice cycle tour along the channel) of Het Oude Nest.

The Reuselhoeve, a former canoe farm, is situated at 5km of Het Oude Nest. Besides canoeing you can nowadays enjoy other group activities, like:

Abbey Koningshoeven is situated at 8 km (nice cycle tour along the channel). Trappist beer is still brewed here. It is possible to join excursions through La Trappe.
